Artemisinin and ACT demand and supply forecasting
Description of the project
At its January 2009 ad hoc meeting in Geneva, the UNITAID Board mandated the UNITAID Secretariat to commission a global ACT forecasting services. The Secretariat, recognizing the need to include related activities, broadened the service to include Artemisinin and ACT supply and demand forecasting at global level and AMFm specific. The crucial role of forecasting services has also been strongly recommended by RBM and other partners and by participants of the AMFm workshop for Phase 1 countries, held in Nairobi, Kenya in February 2009.
