Paediatric Antiretroviral Project

This project has created the market for paediatric fixed-dose combinations (FDC) antiretrovirals to treat children living with HIV. Market conditions for paediatric ARVs has improved over last year with an increasing number of new generics manufacturers making key paediatric products. As a result, price reductions continue to be seen across all recommended products.  Today 98% of the children benefiting from the project are on FDCs, an increase of 50% since 2008.
