2nd UNITAID Consultative Forum, Dakar, Senegal

UNITAID hosted its second Consultative Forum on the 6th of December 2008 in Dakar, Senegal.

The Consultative Forum brought together UNITAID's stakeholders and partners, including international organizations, civil society, government ministries, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry and private foundations among others. It was an opportunity for UNITAID to present its achievements over the last two years and to obtain partners views and suggestions on the way forward. The Forum's recommendations will feed into future discussions and considerations by the UNITAID Executive Board and Secretariat.
