All Party Parliamentary Group on AIDS supports the Patent Pool Initiative
Further to The All Party Parliamentary Group on AIDS Enquiry into Access to HIV Medicines in the Developing world that included a briefing on the UNITAID Patent Pool Initiative, the APPG launched its report, The Treatment Timebomb, on long-term access to HIV medicines in the developing world.

A Parliamentary Motion calling on pharmaceutical companies to show their commitment to access to medicines for the world's poorest people by signing up to the UNITAID patent pool was tabled by David Borrow MP, Chairman of the APPG.
