The Executive Board is the decision-making body of UNITAID. The Executive Board makes all decisions relating to UNITAID (except for those delegated to the Secretariat). For example, the Executive Board determines UNITAID’s objectives, scope and work plan and approves all partnership arrangements with other organizations and institutions. It also monitors UNITAID’s progress, approves UNITAID budgets and financial commitments and participates in the performance review of the Executive Secretary. The Board generally takes its decisions by consensus.
