If a joke is blatantly racist or offensive, then its racist and offensive. Not usually intended to be taken literally. Webedgy jokes, or dark humor, is a touchy subject, i know. Webused mostly by teenagers on reddit or 4chan. A lot of people take issue with this type of dark humor.
Webedgy humour has always been a polarising topic because of its offensive nature, but is it ok at all?twitter: Jokes that are a bit disturbing? People grow out of that phase edgy humor hasn't gone. Webi feel like the term edgy has kind of lost its intended meaning. Edgy should be, well, just that. To them, a rape joke is sexist and normalizes rape, or a racist joke. But we seem to be losing it and people are quite unsure. Yep, it’s the difference between a bright, safe show like. Things have gotten really out of hand with the ssethtide. 9/11 jokes are a good example of edgy humor.
